Yeah...he's definitly unique. And I should have the next chapter up sometime this week/weekend. I just need to actually sit down and type all of it up with getting distracted by other things. ^_^ Glad you like it, I've actually been iffy about the whole idea but it was just too cute to pass up.

I'm very picky about AU fics and I love yours. Both their professions suit them well and they are in character without the Soul Society hierarchy (or equivalent) to keep them that way. That's an achievement on it's own. And that you could also add Isane / Ikkaku / Yamuchika to the mix in fitting roles is amazing. Can't wait to see the Isane / Ikkaku subplot. (And see if/how you're going to add any other characters)

Yeah, Kenpachi's occupation took me a while to figure out, but lucky for me Kaida is awesome and suggested an kendo instructor when I kept coming up with military jobs for him. As for other characters, you'll see a few more before this story is finished.

Thanks, I will. Though the second chapter is giving me a bit of a problem, but I'm still hoping for the second chapter to be up by Saturday. So be on the look out for Chapter two.

oh wow, this is the love. I can't wait for more.
It's always hard coming up with jobs and clothing and location and etc etc etc when you make a "shinigami as real peoplez" fic, but I think you did really well. The characters are spot on, you can visualize things so well...I LOVE. :3
CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT CHAPTER.
