Slept for like 14 hours last night, so I'm finally caught up. Jetlag wasn't so much the issue, it's not like I have a regular sleep schedule to begin with, but I hadn't had a decent night's rest since Sunday. Much better now

Tomorrow we go to Rothenburg for a night, then on to Switzerland and then Italy. We'll be back in Germany a bit later in the month (we have a hotel booked in Munich for the 18th and 19th, so we'll be there then, and may head back sooner)
Wendy (who is traveling with us) has a cellphone which has been activated internationally. It accepts text messages as well (which you should be able to send from the T-Mobile website if nothing else). The number is 971.222.8390. Get in touch if our schedules mesh, it'd be great fun to meet you somewhere.

The water tastes very metallic, but is fundamentally drinkable. I don't actually drink caffeine, I'm more a Fanta or Mirinda type if I'm gonna drink soda.
Houston (I mean Bobby) we have a problem.coocherellaSeptember 7 2005, 23:35:18 UTC
Hey Bobby! So... there were fliers all over the building today. They're on to me. They know I'm not supposed to be here. They are changing the locks on the doors Saturday. We are supposed to go to the Montgomery Front Desk Staurday to change keys. I suppose that I could try giving them the story (watering plants) and you will want to be able to get in the apartment when you arrive in Portland. Anyway if I end up having to leave its ok, I have a place to stay, but I just wanted to let you know. Hope you are rocking Switzerland or whereever the fuck you are.

Hmm...uhh...uh oh. Well, I guess hope for the best there. If they won't let you exchange the keys, maybe just leave the door unlocked so you can get in?
