[Amon shivers at the bit of kiss that he receives, laughing softly as he keeps his eyes on the angel.] Are you actually going to kiss me or just tease, angel? I'm all strung up and that's all you're going to do?
[He doesn't like being told that he was the cause of his own pain, but he bites his tongue, keeping himself from getting too much deeper without a proper argument. Pulling on his chains again, he glares at Raguel, huffing and growling.] So I'm fucked. I get it. I'm going to get tortured for the things I did. Whatever, shit happens. But it doesn't change the fact you still don't have a thing going for you. He's gone. The host has overrun everything. The world is ENDING, Angel. All your work is for naught.
If that's true, then at least I'll have done what I was created to do. Even if it is for nothing, fulfilling my purpose will be an honor. [He reaches out to brush Amon's hair from his eyes, gently. Kindness is sometimes the best weapon.] But I don't think that's true. Holiness is scarce these days, but not gone. A clusterfuck of angels doesn't mean the Great I Am has turned into the I'm Not. Neither does the end of the world.
Disgusting. [Amon's taken by surprised at that small gesture, staring at him like he was a three headed alien before he shakes that look off. Kindness was a good weapon against him, as he was not prone to something like that.] What holiness is left is prone to hate, to destruction. True holiness is few and far between and die early for their martyrdom. I wouldn't be surprised if He left us all to die. Neither should you when that time comes.
That's quite a compliment coming from you. Thank you. [He's found his angle, then. He's going to make him hurt, and he's going to do it sweetly.] But it always has been. The presence of the Lord is precious and rare, worth martyrdom or any trial.
You make it sound like He doesn't have the right to destroy us.
Fuck off, angel. [And it's going to kill Amon every step of the way. Because he did enjoy the angel's company, but this, no, this was torture. This was what demon's feared, but he wouldn't stand down. Not for an instant.] He's dead, Raguel. Dead to all of us, dead to the world. There's no point in believing in something that is so gone.
He doesn't deserve a thing to have done this to us. He doesn't deserve anything from any fucking one of us.
That's what they keep saying, but I can't believe that. Not when I've seen as much of Him in the world as I have. [He frowns, taking Amon's hand briefly before dropping it again.] I can't imagine what you have to go through, being cut off from that. It explains why you do what you do, honestly, but it doesn't excuse it.

What, in humans? What a laugh. [That touch to his hand catches him even more off-guard, looking at Raguel like he's an alien with two heads at this point. But the idea of him being kind makes him squirm, trying to pull away from him.] Get the fuck off of me. Don't you try to understand me, you have no fucking clue why I am how I am. Don't even try.
Why? There's no fucking reason for us to give him satisfaction.
Sometimes in humans, yes. But other places too, all the time. The earth, the animals on it, even in demons, sometimes. [Especially in demons. He just lays a hand on Amon's shoulder, squeezing it lightly.] I know that. Neither of us has much idea who we're dealing with, do we? Why don't you explain it to me?
Because you owe it to Him. You have no idea how much you've taken.
Ugh please, save me the theatrics and drama about how He's in everything blah blah blah. I don't want to hear such bullshit. HE'S not here, there's nothing to save us. [Amon steels himself as best as possible, though it's pretty difficult being chained to a wall.] Not enough time to explain my mind to you. Besides, let's be honest here, you could give a fuck on how I work. You just want me dead.
You were the one who asked. And no. There's nothing to save you because you refuse to be saved. [He laughs quietly and leans in to kiss his cheek again.] We've got all the time in the world. And if I just want you dead, why haven't I killed you yet? I could have easily done it already.
You didn't have to reply like that either. I don't WANT to be saved, got it? [He shivers again at the kiss, both with a want that he knows he shouldn't have and the pain that shoots through his body at being that close to destruction.] I keep asking myself the same thing. So why don't you kill me already? You're starting to get boring again.
Then why all the ire about being abandoned? Why complain over something you don't want being given to someone else? It doesn't make sense. I'm not asking for a lot from you, Amon, just a little bit of honesty. [There's a brief smile.] Answer your own question. My ends aren't the same as yours.
Honesty? You want honesty from me, Angel? It's not going to happen. [He laughs, shaking his head. But he goes quiet at the last part, just glaring because he knows that Raguel is going to get to him in the worst of ways.]
Yes, it is. That's what I do, isn't it? Figure out the truth, and punish accordingly. You can be involved in the miscarriage of your own justice if you want. I could serve the harshest punishment imaginable to you because you refuse to cooperate. Or I could give you what you deserve, if you tell me what I need to know.
[Amon just watches him for a long moment before yawning, relaxing his in restraints again. He was amused if Raguel didn't catch the smug coming off of him, but he was definitely shaken up - it had been a long time since an angel had had their way with him.]
