So, I'm here in Vegas taking classes. So far, I'm feeling a little less like a total spaz in the back of the class each day. I think, however, I've broken my toe. Mardi Love is a wonderful teacher. Oh! I'm down at Fort Lewis and only have intermitant access to the internet.  We've been doing all the pre-mobilization training and the weather has been crazy: snow, hail, rain, sun...  All the travel caught up with me and I have been fighting off a case of brochitis.  I'm living in the barraks at the moment.  There will be one last weekend to visit ( Read more... )

Last week was pretty eventful. I'm doing more National Guard training, mostly in Tacoma.  I'll be doing a couple more weeks down here before going back to work. Last Wednesday, I was in a rear-end collision that has taken my car out of commission. I'll find out this week whether or not my insurance will even consider it repairable.
