Kemonomimi Bonnets: TAKE 2

On February 18 I wrote a review of what should have been adorable bonnets from misscandyholic that were finished and arrived a month late in terrible condition... I'm sure everyone remembers this. I'm still glad I didn't go on the trip I wanted to wear them for. :/

In any case, a few days ago... (Let's count the months. It's mid-June now. I paid for the bonnets

Oh dear SHAZAM she is hopeless!!! How can she not have made herself a pattern? Or brought a pattern? Or something?! If you're going to take commissions from people and accept their money you should have some idea of what you are doing!!! You should see if you can find a pattern and then make it from that. Her design doesn't look very good... ;_;

I know! OTL No wonder they all came out different... It's already kind of hard to draw ovals properly so I'd think you'd make your own for that, not just cut whatever you feel like. At least she doesn't build houses for a living... ^^;;;;

I'll look through some of my lolita or cosplay mooks to see if there are any simple bonnet patterns to base them off. At this point, I think even making a flat pad and poking holes for the ears will be more effective, lol.

I've also put it off for almost 6 months but I have to leave feedback now. OTL

I did. I have to leave someone else negative now for irritating me and ruining my buying experience, lol. The person deleted the entry and her account but who cares. Ima leave her some anyhow.

Wtf...? All I can muster is a sympathetic wince of disbelief-- I agree, there is a serious lack of quality...

It baffles me how much better they look worn /backwards/! I just don't understand how someone can take that long and still have it turn out like... that? Er...

I'm actually getting secondhand embarrassment for the poor quality for something that was a /second attempt/ commission... OTL

I know.. And they look very Shaker if I try to wear them backwards. OTL

At least you can't die from secondhand embarrassment. That is reserved for firsthand experience only. XD
