The atmosphere at the conference was great -- discussing squicks and kinks and warnings in an academic setting, does it get any better than that? *g*

You certainly got your 15 minutes of fame by using Prezi! I'd never seen anything like it.

It was utterly awesome! Thank heavens so many conference people were online and willing to talk on afterwards. It doesn't really feel as if the conference is over and done ;) I hope there'll be a second RL meetup, though.

Oh, talking about which, what did you talk about in the "What's next?" section? I left right after the presentations so I missed any plans to take over the world, etc.

I'm looking forward to your posts!

Basically, Kristina outlined the work of the OTW and explained how TWC had issued a special CFP aimed at presenters at this conference, with deadline sometime this autumn. (Look, acronyms.) We were also alerted to the existence of a Facebook group for the conference. There hasn't been much activity there yet, but a lot of people have signed up, so that's probably the best way to reach many participants at once. People were definitely interested in a second conference, but nobody was hopping to do the organization work ;) Having done event organizing at a university, I understand perfectly.

World conquering was not decided upon just yet, we need to form a committee for that.
