he came across as very self-centered to me esp once he and jongin were mated. he only thought about how it'd affect him and didn't step back to think about how jongin was feeling. he did have a lot of good moments though! like being open to jongin in the first place and getting to know him haha

that's why i said i liked the characterization, it was realistic and made me think/consider decisions that the characters made ^^ (idk if this makes any sense)

I understand your point, but to be fair he went through a lot worse in those few months than Jongin. Jongin didn't have to cope with the heat or the awkwardness of involving another person in his life in such a way, of having to create this strange intimacy between them. But of course, Jongin did have to deal with being mated against his will, and with his past being brought up, and with being an outcast. It is somewhat realistic for Joonmyun to find his issues worse in such a situation. I'm not sure that I would be capable of thinking how the other person was feeling, and more power to those who are able.

There are so many things to love about this fic. I really enjoyed it.
I liked how you described the build-up in the relationship of Junmyeon and Jongin, ChanHo's friendship and the whole pack in general. I thought at first that Jongin's wolf would really be dominating but no. ;_; It was just so sweet how there was the understanding that SuKai could learn together to make their relationship work and it did. ;_;

But seriously I love EVERYTHING about this fic! Especially how everyone slowly built up trust with each other and how sukai take care of each other and agdjskafgshakak just too many feels ;; this is a wonderful, wonderful work!

I don't really know what to say right now because my brain is pretty much shut down and not responding from how well this was written. I'm terrible and it took me /days/ to remember that I loved this a lot and that I should comment because it was AMAZING and it was long and I love longfics so much ;;;; There's just something about the way that Joonmyun kept wanting to help no matter what Jongin did or what he could do and my heart is flailing everywhere from how cute they were together. I liked how there was a good time limit to when Jongin would become 16 - it's not fun if they just get right to the sex! No no, you need to build up the story and make everything cute and fluffy and happy and then make the wolf counterpart sO CUTE I COULD CRY LIKE IT WAS WAGGING ITS TAIL AND YIPPING AND IT DIDN'T EVEN CARE THAT ITS PACK WASN'T EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE SAME SPECIES. I was worried, at first, like...oh crap, what if they wolf is completely crazy like Jongin and Chanyeol say? But then I was thought to myself, okay there's still like 30k

I especially liked the time limit...it meant I was able to write so much more. It was literally MONTHS. It was about four months in the end, of sex? And it was my first time writing most of it. It was really fun!
And yes, the Jongin wolf was adorable, wasn't he? He just wanted to play with this group of strange animals. :D Well technically he WAS crazy--but only until the pack came!
Of course it worked out! :D And sorry you can't have any more tiger!Tao....

I never really imagined him as a baby bird, but now I am? This makes it really cute for me! A new pretty phoenix. I don't ship ChanLay either most of the time, but it was lovely to write. Yixing made Chanyeol less awful. :) He and Joonmyun both.
