It took a moment before Lizzi heard the knocking, she turned the stereo down and opened the door, a huge smile on her face. "Gau Cheng! Come on in, are you ready to get all dressed up for the dance?" Lizzi was obviously in a good mood, grinning from ear to ear as she twirled around in her dress, the shoes sitting by the door until just before she was ready to leave. She grabbed the stoic boy's hand and pulled him into the room, shutting the door. "Now go ahead and get your dress on, then we can get started on your hair and makeup."

Katya stood outside of Elizaveta's door making the mental "rounds" on everything she carried in her arms. Dress, folded neatly, impossibly complicated-looking shoes dangling from her fingers, and a long ribbon for her hair wrapped loosely around her wrist. She'd even managed to find a strapless bra in her size, which she folded discreetly into the dress. That was all, right? Was there anything she'd forgotten? She went over it again and decided that there really wasn't anything. She had no makeup or jewelry to bring, no use for those at home, so at least there wasn't any worry about forgetting those. Satisfied, she knocked tentatively on Lizzi's door.

Lizzi looked up from fussing over her hair, trying to get it to lay just right and went over to the door, flinging it wide and smiling at Katya. "Kat! Glad you could make it, come on, have you got everything? I think Gau Cheng is still in the bathroom, so um, you might have to wait to put your dress on, hopefully he won't be too much longer. Did you ever get a date?" Lizzi was aware of the fact that she was probably talking a mile a minute, but she really couldn't help herself, she was so excited she could barely contain herself.
