losing Weight

I am trying to lose weight. I am currently (as of last Saturday) down 13 lbs. my total goal is 70 lbs. I am eating chicken, beef & pork, I am just watching the total calories a day. I have instant oatmeal or cream of wheat for breakfast at work. it is 120 cal - 160cal depending on the kind. If I am at home an omlete with cheese and Mushrooms is 205 ( Read more... )

I'm jealous. My doctoer wants me to lose 50lbs. He's putting me on a 1000 calorie a day diet. I'm kinda sad about it.

Don't be sad, that is about what I am doing, all the wonderful packaged 100 cal foods help, sugarfree jello at 10 cal helps and popsicles help too. You can do it.

Also what helps is when we go out to eat, Ron takes me to Applebee's and they have the weight watcher meals with how many cal they are right on the menu. The Shrimp Kabobs with steamed vegetables and seasoned rice was 270 cal and I believe the confetti chicken with steamed vegetables and seasoned rice was about the same. Both of them were very yummy.
