Heh, all's well right now. My mother's safe, sound, and bugging me for phone calls...my grandmother's been dead since March, and she's in a better place...

She was a Holocaust survivor, she knew hell. But she also knew the joy of raising a big family.

It's always interesting to see where people get their ideas for original characters, and it's a bit surprising to see how personal Fran's story is. I'm sorry that your grandmother went the way she did; I had relatives with the same condition, and it's never easy to see someone go in that fashion. The best we can do is drive on and let it all out when things start piling up.
