Apparently Lucy Liu is going to be playing Watson in the North American Sherlock series (which is unrelated to the British one, so I've heard). I don't know how I feel about this. On the one hand, I like new and different things. On the other hand... I'm a little weirded out by the idea of Watson being female if Sherlock's still a dude

I more meant severely weirded out. It feels like bad fanfiction the television show, and not necessarily in a good way and I worry this will make them put too much romance in things where romance has no place (outside of fanfiction). But, who knows? They could do an awesome job. I will probably end up watching it anyway, lol.

HOLY CRAP, WOMAN. YESSSS. :D (Incidentally, while I have you here, just wanted to let you know that I've been listening pretty much nonstop to your I'm Still Talking mix for the last, like, week. It gets to the end and I chew on the lingering sounds in my brain for a while and then I start to want to hear the guitar opening of The Longer I Run again so I have to start over. It is absolutely the soundtrack to my life. (Teacher's college is hard. *_*) And I gave it to Sam and she can't stop listening to it either. Just thought you should know. Awww, thanks! That really (really really) makes my day. ^^_^^ It took me a long time to boil it down to the "right" set of songs, so the thought of you and Sam enjoying it (esp. if it's helping with the grind at school!) makes me very happy. :) :) :) I feel like anytime I try to do something even remotely artsy I end up dissatisfied with it, but this one mix I've always been very happy with. (Well, this, and the "Together We Will Live Forever" one I did for Wing for her wedding. I'm hoping to make a follow-up mix to that one soon, since I keep finding new instrumentals to fall in love with).

Speaking of which, I only recently realized Sam is a girl. XD I think because I know you quasi via SPN fandom, I always just thought she was a guy. XD (And looked kind of like a chibi-SamW in my head!)

And you're totally dead on about The Longer I Run - I actually got it off an SPN mix I was listening to. :)
