I'm terrible at introduction posts. They get long and rambly, and don't usually end up being particularly truthful, so I figured I would do this another way. I've also been waiting for an occasion to do this meme I came across over on doriana186's journal, so... Two birds, one stone, right?

IT SO TOTALLY IS! I have a funny relationship with that movie. I remember it came out when I was still fairly small, and my English wasn't all that great yet. I watched it over and over again, and as a by-product, I learned most of the lines by heart - without ever actually having any clue what they were saying. I re-watched it now about a year ago as an adult, and it felt really weird. I knew the lines like the melody to a song, but it was the first time I actually managed to follow the plot. XD

And wow, that's quite a few languages!
Nah, it's really not. Like I said, I only know the first four. The rest are the very, very basics - that is to say, I know the grammar of constructing some basic sentences and I can pose some questions, but my vocabulary is next to non-existent, and I can only express myself in present tense. >.<
The trip to Genova and Imola was inspiring, though, so I plan to start learning Italian properly as soon as they offer a course at uni that doesn't crash with all the other stuff I'm supposed to be doing.

I have the compulsive need to document my life, and you... are actually interested in other people's lives. Either we complete each other, or we enable each other's unhealthy behavior. Either way, it's a party!
