The start of something new

Today was the first day of group therapy. Transitions out patient program. 10:15am - 1:15pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next four weeks. The first half is with Phil who did it last year, and the second half is with Gene who's a pretty cool guy. They've changed the program, but I think it will be better. It's more of a class now. sounds a lot like buddhism to me...well, sort of. instead of accepting reality, it's more accepting that all is illusion...and accepting what happens. at least the way i interpret it.

i kind of picture my bipolar like a river. it flows through me, and i watch it go through. it's not static, and it won't last forever.

anyway, enough musings. i could go on and on about all the things i try to do when i'm going bipolar so i don't hurt myself. fortunately, i've been safe for awhile now. good luck to you on that.

Oh it's a definite influence. I think Mindful is directly part of Buddhism, not sure though.

On a different note I will be in NoVA this weekend if you and Maram would like to do lunch or dinner or anything as long as it's something. :)
