Hey Y'all!

Alright! Short and sweet because I have so much to do today, even though I'd really rather sit around and mess with Tumblr. Now that I know how it works (kind of) I CANNOT STOP LOOKING, IT IS SO AWESOME YOU GUYS!

Anyway- I MOVED! YAAAAY! I am currently in Pullman, Washington in an adorable house trying my damndest to set everything up and not spend ( Read more... )

Let's see... I've taken your art to a foreign country and snapped silly pictures of it, put it up in my cube at work, and framed it and put it on my living room wall -- and that's all different pieces of your art -- so it's safe to say that if you put some of it on a t-shirt, I would wear it! :-D

LOL, yay! Now I just need to figure out what to do for one! The process of screenprinting is so involved I feel like I need to make something FANTABULOUSOME to make it worthwhile, you know?

I definitely would like to see you do a Sherlock shirt. There are so many Dr. Who shirts out there already and honestly, I haven't been overly excited about the Sherlock tees showing up on qwertee.com. I wanted to like them, but they've just left me kind of "meh." The only one I've seen so far that I'll likely buy if they print it is the MoriarTea: It's what people drink! shirt. And that's really more about cleverness than design.

Well I did one shirt design while I was waiting for my standby flight in Seattle, but I'm not sure if I'll do it or not. It's not in my 'style' so much as it is just designed for a larger Sherlock audience; but then that's the catch sometimes. It's something that I would wear though, but it's not really clever or exciting. So, I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort to put it on a shirt:

Aw, thank you! I have more Tardis clocks on the way here, and enough parts to make 2 more of them, so I'm excited! I really like how that clock came out, I totally plan on making some more clocks in the future. They have all kinds of materials to choose from, so I can get pretty creative with the designs. I had a clock idea for Dr. Who where instead of numbers at all the areas there were little half-portraits of doctors, like defining features or hair, just enough to let a Whovian know who it was you know? I think that would be pretty awesome for a clock! Then you could be like "Oh, it's 11 o'clock!" and think of Matt Smith x3

Yes! I'm excited and I just hope it turns out good. I know it's challenging because I've done it halfheartedly before (for a class, you know how that goes, lol)

*grins* You're so happy and enthusiastic. Yay! :D

If doing panels seems too scary, you can always just come and put stuff up in the art show and do the Artist's Alley this year and see what it's all about, then come back next year as one of the Pro Guests for panel fun. :)

T-shirts! Wheeee! Screenprinting is fun. I haven't done it in ages, but it's so easy and so much fun. :) I wish I were closer to you - I would come and help you print shirts!

As for interest, I would totally be interested in a Sherlock shirt! I currently have no awesome ideas though. I'll let you know if that changes. ;)

Maybe I could organize a Sherlock party. ;) Not very Sci Fi, but who cares?! ;)

*pokiepokes* UE. You're gonna come, right? Did you get the links I sent you for the art show and artist's alley? :)

MAKE T SHIRTS. I WANT.

I just finished reading mimishka's fic. It's lovely, and I'm jealous that you know such a gloriously creative person. (Actually, you know a lot of wonderful people...) Um. The only quote that I can think of is Wibbly Wobbly. Though any Who catchphrase would work, honestly.

As for Sherlock, I. WOULD. DIE. I need more Sherlock in my life. Pink, Serial Adulterer, So Changeable, I've Already Deleted It, Psychosomatic.... I could do this all day. I...also may have been reading a ton of unimaginably good Sherlock Holmes fic recently. XD

xD Thank you, those do help a lot! I'm thinking of doing one with the 'Hanged' quote because that is just MY FAVORITE BIT, ever, seriously xD I love it. And I seriously have been able to talk to a bunch of awesome people online, I just love it. Fandom is the BEST!

I really really REALLY want to test out my screenprinting stuff but I'm cautious because it's kind of like, once you've burned something onto a screen and gone to the trouble you want to make at least ten of whatever you're doing, you know? And putting the upfront cost for 10 t-shirts, of variant sizes, not knowing if I'll make all the wrong size or everyone will want small or large or medium or whatever, it's a bit nerve wracking- especially since I have to order them from online and all. I've been thinking of possibly just putting up designs and having some people vote? or pre-order, but my last attempt at pre-order went so horribly I could never try that again I think e_e auuugh... FACTORS, Y U BE THIS WAY?!

And now I can't recall the "hanged" quote. ): Off all things!

I think that you could do a kind of poll. Make your designs and then let us vote on favorites. Then you would know what people like/are appealed to/would be a good option. See what kind of feedback you get and then go from there. Or...offer the design for sale and then only make what you actually get orders for. Save some effort there, maybe.

*squish* Good luck!

It's that beginning where Sherlock is visiting an inmate and the inmate is begging for Sherlock's help because he murdered his girlfriend and claims he doesn't know how/why he did it, and he goes "Please, Mr 'Olmes, if you don't help me I'll get hung for this for sure!" and Sherlock is all like "Oh, no of course you won't get hug... -hanged-, maybe." and then he leaves xD I LOVE that part.
