Alright, so these are my Time Lapse videos of painting Hold My Heart with Gouache. The first song is Christina Perri with 'Arms', which is the song used for the inspiration in the painting. The video should explain it all, if I got the sound to work right. Thanks for watching!

Oh, you used one of my favorite songs for the second video ("The Aspidistra Flies," by Stars)! I was mesmerized the whole way through these, pretty much, not least because I'd never heard all the rest of the music and it was incredible. Your process is absolutely fascinating. We writers can't exactly do that; it'd get quite dull, quite fast ;)

Thanks Miss Bettie - 8D I haven't had a chance to tell you about my possible full-on-real-job-with-a-salary-and-everything offer in Minneapolis! At a place called Fantasy Flight Games! I'm trying not to get too excited because I don't know for sure if I'll get the offer, but, I can hope anyway. I've never had a salary before, lol!

For some reason, the first video wasn't showing up for me, but I finally got to see it. I love the instrumental music. When I get paid next week, I'm definitely going to track that down. That and the Stars song from the second clip. You have fantastic taste in music!

Also, after all of the talk about the halo around Sherlock, I suddenly noticed that his left hand is raised in a sort of benediction pose, as if he's bestowing a blessing of acceptance and love on John. It's a wonderful tie in to the halo imagery.
