I tried on a couple pairs of jeans a few weeks ago and I couldn't even get one pair on, despite the fact that they were both the same style, brand, and size just different washes. So yeah, I sympathize.

That is frustrating, I agree. I noticed a pair of jeans from Vietnam were sized how men's jeans are (with waist in actual measurement numbers). So that's kind of cool.

I think some pants for women (at least jeans) get sized that way, but I don't personally own any. It might be because I shop in the Junior's section. I do buy "short" sized pants, though, if that's an option (it is where I buy most of my pants).

Do you think sizing is getting bigger or smaller? (like a 3 now was a 1 before or a 6 before type thing).

Where I shop sizes seem to be getting smaller, because they import from Asia. But I feel like overall sizes are getting bigger. Which personally I feel is a good thing. Because society telling girls that a size 16 is an XL is cruel and makes alot of girls cry.
