No LASIK For Me, Scrapbooking

Well I don't qualify for LASIK still, and probably never will:-( My cornea is too messed up. If my vision were a lot better and they only needed to alter my eye a little they might be able to, but that's not the case. It was expensive when I first bought some things.:( But I have specific books I want to make (this is the one for Alaska), and it might take awhile to gather enough to even make the other book I want to make, so I'm not too worried about it. I'm bad at budgeting:( I can usually wait, though, so it would be easier to put things aside for a period of time (this book I intend to be the only one I work on through the end of June/beginning of July when I can complete it, and the only thing I need to still get for it is printing photographs).

I don't like how I look in glasses either (and contacts sound too uncomfortable and complicated), but I've heard too much about how LASIK works, and what things can potentially go wrong, that for now at least, glasses seem like the lesser of three evils.

The problem I had with glasses is that my prescription kept rapidly getting worse, and contacts stopped that:-/ Though I do wear glasses most often currently.
