What bothers me is that the current DSM is really stupid in regards to AN. There are women who starve and have a bmi of 16 or 17 and still get periods, and I'm glad that the DSM V is going to be updated. I know that people who are currently EDNOS feel like they don't need help because they're not emaciated, and many people with AN aren't, but the mentality is the same as someone who has been clinically diagnosed as anorexic.
It really boils down to mentality, not just weight or menstruation. I'm glad the article recognizes that.
