Halloween is coming up pretty quickly now. I remember the ball last year...vaguely. It's just one of those holidays that seems appropriate to celebrate here.

I remember when I was a kid, I went trick-or-treating once or twice. I wish there were a way the kids here could do that. It'll be on a nice day too. The full moon's already passed so I'm in ( Read more... )

nostalgic, this isn't so bad, liked being older, lonely, uncertain, halloween, back to normal, cloud

I...it's okay.

A...friend of mine. He's been avoiding me...I think. Ever since that last string of...event things.

I've never met a werewolf before. Do you bay at the moon?

Halloween? That's one of the fat human holidays, isn't it?

Fat? I don't know about that. It originally started as the night when the veil between the spirit world and the normal world were thinnest. It was a night of playing tricks and warding off evil spirits.

Nowadays it's lost a lot of it's meaning though. Back home at least.

Yeah! It's where kids dress up in costumes and go from door to door getting candy. They say "Trick or treat!" and people are supposed to give them candy.

But only on Halloween night~

It's a holiday! It originally started out as a day of pranks, and when the dead could supposedly return so you tried to trick them into leaving you alone or offered them things. People wore costumes and had lavish feasts, carved up pumpkins and put candles in them.

Modern days it's more of a night for kids, with kids dressing in costumes and going door-to-door for candy while saying "Trick-or-treat!"

Yes. He's very nice. he's been broody?

I understand, I guess, if he doesn't really want to talk to me now, though...
