nathan doesnt do anything messy. seriously. i think the key to his character is control. he loves having it. of course, i love to write claire making him lose it, too.
I see Nathan this way, too, as thorough and calculating even (or especially) when it comes to relationships.
She figured it out. Claire's mouth fell open. i wasnt sure that this abrupt shift would work...but i think it did ok.
I like this sudden moment of realization.
