Funny enough.. Language has always been interesting to me and I tend to pick up the accents of people around me.
when I was 2, living in So. Cal. My 2 best friends were these little boys, one from Texas and one from England. Well, I guess I started to elongate all my ar, or, er, and ir vowel sounds. When I moved to Missouri for 2 years, the kids taunted me for my accent and teased me to no end. I had no idea I had an accent (that was 2nd and 3rd grade) We moved back to Ca. this time the Bay Area, and apparently my accent was so bad, they stuck me in speech therapy for the entire year. There are still some words that I struggle with (Breakfast the biggie) but if I find a word that I think I will pronounce funny, I usually find another word to replace it.
Yeah.. that was a long explanation to say .. that quiz is pretty accurate.

If you're not Canadian, you're either a Minnesotan, or you're a Westerner who over-thought some of the questions on the quiz.
And I am Canadian.
