Listen, I don't even know what to say about this. It's just so, so, so good. It's creative and touching and so perfectly Finn. Everything about it strikes the perfect chord of melancholy and stagnation that comes with June 3rd, but also this youthful sense of hopeful naivety...All culminating in this delightful little moment at the end with Burt (<333). I just...Don't know what to say. You're so disgustingly talented you make me never want to write again, THAT'S A FACT. Please, for the love of God, keep churning stuff out-- YOU ARE A GIFT TO THIS FANDOM. And I'm not just kissing your ass by saying so.

MY FAVORITE LINE OF TIHS WHOLE THING:

He’s four years old when he finally grasps the concept of death and buries Mr. Hunny-Bunny under the massive oak tree behind his house. And you were worried. Ha. This was fantastic.

He knows that he is the last thing she wants to see right now, but that can change in an instant. She’ll need him, soon, and he wants to be there for her when she does. I love this line so much. It says so much about their relationship and it rings very true to me.

-Puck burned his math book LOL BRB LOL FOREVER. Little crazy arsonist. I love this bit of humor. It's really well placed in the story - right after the heartwrench of Randy and lost dreams - and did really well to break up the angst.

- I love the conversation about Quinn giving it up to Superman/Batman: First of all: BOYS. Secondly: That Finn think she deserves a Superman (is this a standard he holds himself too? That's definitely how I see it). and of course Puck thinks differently. LOVED IT.

HUMMEL/HUDSON FAMILY BBQ! THERE IS SO MUCH LOVE! (and I love, love LOVE the last line)

ngl, the Batman/Superman convo was my favorite part. Finn definitely sees himself as a Superman type character, and I'm sure Puck does, too. And Puck sees himself as the ~darker, more flawed & complex character, and is convinced Q would rather have that than the perfect, cardboard-cutout superhero, even though she probably deserves better. tl;dr LOL BOYS.
