In my imagination there is no complication, we walk together hand in hand.
(Kylie Minogue, I Should Be So Lucky... and I don't thank you for making me admit that I know it).
The following is not my own paraphraseology, but that of a friend's father. I think it's brilliant though:
Scintilate, scintilate, globule vivific, Feign would I fathom thy nature specific, Loftily poised in the ever-capacious, Strongly resembling a gem, carbonaceous!
Of course, there's always a risk that you might not know the song! I find it quite interesting noting which bits the mind grasps at to decrypt them.
Or doesn't grasp... I've been mentally rearranging bits of "lucky" and "belive" and such to try and solve gbsteve's above as I feel groundlessly sure I know the song...
I'm pretty bad at remembering lyrics when I read them as it is (despite being able to sing along when they come on), let alone when they're paraphrased. I guess the reason is that for me, the music is what I latch onto when I hear a song, not the lyrics.

Screams Poker Face to me, but something at the back of my brain is whispering about an 80s song that's a better fit....
