Is the BNP racist?

Feb 16, 2010 11:51

I was expecting the Is the BNP racist? site to be along the lines of Has the LHC destroyed the Earth? - but no, instead it's an attempt to wrest the top Google spot for that question from the BNP's own apologia page.

So not really very funny, but worth linking to I think -- maybe you will do so too.

If the LHC were to destroy the Earth, would they update the site?

I don't suppose we shall ever find out.

I can't find a search engine which gives the BNP themselves better than third slot on this issue, so apparently a job well done.

I wonder if they'll start their own counter-effort when they get wind of this. Lends a whole new meaning to black hat vs white hat SEO.

Any such counter effort would be pretty laughable if it worked by viral means.

It's not just about Sausage Roll vs Cheryl Cole - that the internet votes against racism and other similar abuses is potentially a pretty important effect.

The question "Has the LHC destroyed the earth?" already rejects the many world hypothesis. This led me to wonder if there is a strange world on which the BNP promotes national unity through ethnic inclusiveness.

Maybe, there, they're known colloquially as the Bloody Nice Party.

emphasis on the bloody, because they don't tolerate any non-inclusive people and throw them out of meetings and beat them up a bit; they're that tough (oh, maybe that was implicit in your original -in which case (I've typed it now) I'm just showing that I'm reading. hello. waves.)

It wasn't, but it shall be now.
