Liked:

The web game. And it reminded me I'd absent-mindedly done a similar thing years ago with a basic paint package while bored.

Signed up for the democracy thing - can't hurt.

The plot diagram/types page. Have bookmarked for more serious perusal.

The christmas decorations - though I've seen it before it still brought another chuckle.

Not so much:

That boozecats plan.

Very much like these posts of yours btw. They remind me of crowdsourced link sites such as reddit and digg, but without all the irritating crowd. Web M.0

Happy Christmas!

Hmm, I suspect either everyone else hates this kind of post, or else I put this up at a really bad time. Maybe I should try reposting it after New Year.

(And I should definitely start using "Web M.0" as a tag for them, thanks!)

I agree with you about Dean Ashton - very sad.

Palace tried to sign him along with Tim Cahill (then at Milllwall) on their last promotion to the Premier League but Jordan got on to his high horse about agents (rightly so, really) and refused to pay the big agents fees attached to both players. Suffice it to say we didn't sign either of them. Ashton ended up scoring quite a few goals for Norwich who were also relegated that season; Cahill would have been invaluable.

Mm, Cahill muat be a pretty good candidate for bargain of the decade, the contribution he's made at Everton.

You're a Palace fan eh? - are you sorry we've taken Freddie Sears back early, or glad to be rid of him? From the scoring record, it doesn't look like he's done all that much.

I think his confidence went after the Goal That Never Was. I like him and am sorry to see him go (and not just because we've hardly got anyone left!)

His biggest problem is that he allows himself to get knocked off the ball too easily. He's worked really hard at Palace - pity it hasn't really worked out for him or us.
