This was lovely! The scene where John holds Sherlock's heart reminded me of the scene from Howl's Moving Castle, when Sophie held Howl's heart gently in her hands before placing it back where it belonged in his chest. Two brilliant, slightly wackadoo geniuses who removed their hearts thinking it would make them stronger, only to have it returned by the one person who could understand it. Just beautiful!
