attack of the hair products

I attempted to do a 60's beehive up-do with some of the volumizing products I invested in not too long ago. Maybe I'm missing something for the process, but I can't seem to make my hair really come to life. There is volume, but there isn't structure. How exactly did you go about doing this? I have never tried to do a full beehive (partially because I'm never going to put that much product into my hair) but it takes a lot of teasing to build up the desired volume.

I've heard that to get a beehive, the hair underneath the top layer is teased up over and over again, but that's about all I know. I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out--maybe you will bring some of these styles back.

Oh I will definitely post pictures once I master it.

The whole class this was brought up on a car right to Logan, OH - or was it before it... I don't remember. Anyways, my friend Erica looked through an old yearbook and realized how nice everyone looked in their photos and that you couldn't tell who was the dirty one, who was more affluent, etc. But nowadays some people go straight to the photo shoot in pajamas. It seems that people back in the day at least put some effort into looking appropriate for the occasion.
