Did you say "space squid" for any particular reason? Because there are definitely creatures in the second half of the Cantos that are called space squids. Giant, gooey, transparent floating symbiotes that live in the oxygen-rich atmospheres of some gas giants.

firefox is telling me that "symbiotes" is spelled wrong, but "gooey" is cool. wtf
