[The feed clicks on as Spike's hand lands on the corner of the table; for a brief moment, one is treated to his very pained expression as he presses a hand to his head. Then, with a grunt, he stumbles backward and out of range of the camera.

The soft, strained cursing is barely intelligible, but at least he's conscious.]

[The butterfly appears around her eyes as she switches that part of his brain off so that won't feel pain.] Better?

[It's like she flipped a bloody switch and, honestly, he wishes he could do that himself. The chip's still firing -- or his head thinks it's firing, however the Underworld had decided to do this -- but hell if a little relief isn't welcome.] Yeah. Much. Thanks for that.

[The butterfly faded and she ran a hand through her hair.] You're welcome. It's nice to feel at least a bit useful. Can I get you anything to drink from somewhere?

There's whiskey on the counter. [There's a pause; after that sort of prolonged attack, he was having some trouble regrouping.] It's still firing, though, i'nit?

[She grabs the whiskey from the counter and hands it to him.] I'm guessing you don't need a glass? [She pauses briefly] I'm not certain if there's actually anything there or if it's just something this place is doing to replicate whatever that chip was.

[Yeah, no glass needed here. He takes a swig.] Hell if I know. Bloody thing nearly killed me the first time around.

I can search around again for you, if you want. It's possible I could remove it telekinetically, but I'm not quite certain about the extent of my expanded abilities.

Actually it's either tear your brain apart, tear your brain apart, or accidentally tear your entire body apart molecule by molecule. [She looks a bit sheepish saying that.] Sorry I can't be more help. At least the pain is better though, yes?
