[It takes a few moments for Castiel to find his voice; having one's hand nearly shattered -- not to the mention the raw spots on his wrists and gashes in his forearms reopened -- in a split second is disorienting to say the least.] I'm all right.

A gash re-opened. It was unexpected. [Also, several bones in his hand decided to shatter. Makes it hard to hold a tablet.]

[Don't do the panicking thing. He's fine... sort of. He fumbles with the tablet, left-handed. (Not that his left arm doesn't hurt, but it's far better than his right.) There's strain in his voice but he's okay... for now, if he doesn't think too hard about where the injuries came from.] Long since healed injuries reopened.

[It's some time before he answers; he knew Miskai spoke with Sam and his own tablet had been turn off and tucked away until after things had been taken care of. His voice is laced with pain, but steady.]
