[The monitor switches on, Karl's face appearing on the screen with a few more worry lines along his brow than usual. He runs a hand through his hair and sighs]

Perhaps I'm just paranoid, but... I feel like there are eyes on me.

[A wry smile]

Not a welcome sensation by any means, but it is a familiar feeling.

[Another sigh and a small frown]

Much as I'd ( Read more... )

And here I thought Judge Ghis could make a man's skin crawl... What a delightful visitor you have. I hope you give your guest a proper welcome.

[Karl catches Ser Alrik in a gravitational spell that pulls the templar away from him, and follows it with a slam of force that sends him to the ground]

After everything he's done to me, I'm going to do far more than that.

A man who goes above and beyond in his hospitality? Truly a rare sight.

Should you require aid, I've just dealt with my own pursuer. I am in the area, so to speak and I have a bit of Magicks and ammunitions left.

Given that he's the reason for the lovely scar on my head, and why I died in the first place, I have a lot to repay him for.

The offer is appreciated; although, I'm not sure you'd get he's taken care of. But, again, thank you.

[Zevran is watching, an eyebrow raised at the battle.]

The templar have arrived? Hm, that cannot be good for you mages. If you lead him east you can lose him in some traps, my friend.

[Karl uses his magic to lift a nearby pot and tosses it at Ser Alrik's head. The templar stumbles back, a deep laceration on his brow]

And what are the chances I'd accidentally trip these traps myself?

If this is the... thing that I've felt following me, I don't think there's anywhere I can run. I'll just have to keep him at a distance.

[It's a task that's not too difficult given Karl can use force magic to slow Ser Alrik - or this look-a-like, whatever he may be - down, and then follow it with a fist of the maker that slams Ser Alrik into a wall. Sweat beads upon Karl's brow, and it's apparent that he can't keep this up.
