[When the feed turns on only Misaki can be seen from the tablet's resting place on the ground. She is staring off at something, unmoving, and her features show nothing. She looks down to see the communicator but her eyes are unfocused as she kneels down to pick it up

Strife Delivery. [She continues to stare off into the air.] What is left of it.

[That word makes her flinch.]

[Her eyebrow furrows but she does not answer. That is too difficult a question for her to think on.]

Yeah, stupid question. [She bites down on her lower lip.] Do you remember what happened here?

[That question she can understand.]

[Ruka was unsure what to say, how to reply. She couldn't imagine how Misaki felt, but she knew there was little that could be said that would make things better.]

Misaki. [Calm. Quiet. Warm. She was so glad to see her friend back.]

[There is a flicker of recognition in her eyes.]

Ruka.

[Had she insulted her friend? Did the doppelganger? Go play the piano. The doppelganger.]

I'm sorry.

[she shakes her head, giving the camera an understanding, and sympathetic smile.] There's no reason to apologize, Misaki. It wasn't you.

[She nods, unsure what else to say.]

[She doesn't let the relief cloud her tone too much -- there's concern, but not an overbearing amount. She doesn't have to ask what's wrong; speaking is mostly an announcement of her presence.]

Misaki? [Pause] You're not hurt, are you? [Because asking "are you okay" is kind of dumb at this point because she's obviously not.]

[She looks down, her eyes moving as she stays silent. Finally she speaks.]

No.

[She nods] Good.

[And then a pause.] ...It's okay, Misaki. We didn't lose everything.

[And she doesn't know what to do. She doesn't know where to go from here.]
