I think--

[Pauses. Starts again.]

I'm going to... open a chantry. Just a small one, like a... like a chapel. I even found a suitable building, it just needs a little cleaning and fixing.

[Sighs.]It might be helpful to have a place to gather, that's all. You don't have to come by if you don't want to, and if you do come by, you don't have to pay ( Read more... )

You wouldn't mind that, considering the fact that I am not of your faith?

Of course not. You're a friend, at the very least.

But even if you weren't? How could I claim to belong to a welcoming church if I didn't welcome everyone?

Of course, of course. And there will be a small statue of you on top of the box where we'd keep the candles.

That sounds like a nice idea! I'm not very religious, but I'm willing to help out if you need someone to gather materials or items or just help out with tidying the place up!

Some, more than others.

Any help you require, and I'd be glad to lend a hand.

Well, I know some buildings are designed to make sounds echo. Acoustics, I think that's what it's called.

Many buildings. It was useful for public oration before the invention of the microphone.
