I don't know. [ His voice suddenly sounds hollowed out, and he looks away, chuckling, but it is an empty sound. following this with a wry smile, Hawke sighs, and pinches the bridge of his nose. ] Seeing Carver... Meeting Marian- I thought maybe... Maybe things weren't so bad.

I can see now that I have been complacent. I must be more vigilant in the future.

[ Though he is still undecided as to how he feels about the idea of finally making it home. To lose his sibling again-

he simply just does not know. ]

The worst thing is not knowing how to even get out of it. [ He releases a frustrated sigh. ] Short of storming the Gods themselves I haven't the slightest idea where to even begin.
