At first, the snow had been a little unnerving. Being a new place - realizing and being told that it was what most considered the gateway to all eternity - Tifa couldn't help but be wary of everything that occurred within it's realm. If there was one thing she learned from her life in Gaia, it was that anything was possible. And there was no telling what secret intention or hidden side effect anything had. But if there was any truth to the guild she had received from Jill, there was very little to worry about.

So there was no reason to be concerned over a little walk in the snow.

Sure, the modest little home she'd managed to find held all the necessities that Tifa could ever need. But there was something to be said about variety. And a change of pace. She would certainly need to learn the lay of the land if she were to survive. There would be no better time to do so than the present, odd ewather or not.

However, she was not expecting to see quite a sight as that...

"...Lights?"

A soft little hum of a sound marked her agreement. "If things go a little better than they have been, then I'll have no room to complain."

Certainly, things could be worse. And though monsters and people rising from the dead took its toll on everyone's spirit, she could still remember a time that was far more dangerous, at least in her time. They were alive, still. And Cloud, at the very least, would not be alone as long as she was here. Tifa would take the blessings where she could.

"Meanwhile, I should leave you to your merry making."

"That's always a good way to think," Jill replied. A hard-to-kill optimist herself, she didn't find it as hard as some thought to keep a clear head and positive mind even in the crappiest circumstances -- then again, she'd had a lot of practice, willing or no.

"I'll just be relaxing over the holidays, assuming I have the chance," she went on. "If you need anything, let me know."

Cue nod. They seem to be doing that a lot to each other. But then, this conversation was running better and longer than she anticipated.

Not that it was a bad thing.

"I'll be sure to, thank you. And the offer goes both ways." Lifting a hand, she gave a friendly little wave before turning to depart. And left the other woman with some kind little words. "Happy holidays to you. Stay safe!"

Jill nodded with another friendly grin as she picked up her tools and things, offering a brief wave in return.

"Thanks! You, too."

With a final glance, Jill turned and moved back into her department, already thinking ahead of what to make for dinner -- alone tonight, most likely.
