John was pissed to hell and heaven and everything between. Not because of the blood coagulating and ruining his suit, his shirt, his tie. Not because he had been woken up early in order to help the nurse to the clinic. No, because he had no idea how to fix anything that was going on. Helplessness. Not something John was comfortable with in the least. It was a primal fear, certainly, but he would take being tied down, blindfolded, gagged, and left in sheer silence type of helplessness as opposed to this. Something he should potentially be able to get to the source, to figure out, to stop.

"Yeah, songs are good," he answered. The fact of the matter that it was a song about remembering bones...well, he had told her that there was nothing wrong with being a geek. Any other time, it would have endeared him to her.

Maybe.

Christine could tell they had reached the clinic. Everything about it was familiar to her in a way no other place could mimic. That confused her slightly as she at first almost thought she was back home and it was sickbay. However the truth followed her thoughts closely and she shook her head again.

Her eyes found the furnishings in the clinic and sought out the supplies. She saw them but then turned her head so she could look at John.

"I'm a terrible singer you know. He used to laugh at me when I sang in the shower..." She said with her voice slurring a bit despite her clinging to whatever focus she was able to. Her mind fought to recall exactly why she had said what she did. She didn't really think mentioning Roger was appropriate, but for the life of her she could not remember why.

Add concussion to the list of things to treat.

"I didn't know that," he told her, finding the nearest bed to put her down on. His eyes flicked to the medical supplies, each one as horrifying as the next, especially the future ones he had no idea about. The idea that she wanted to work in such a state was totally was lost on him. No, instead he looked down at her, his entire outfit bloody and smeared, and asked, "What do you want me to get?"

"I don't talk much about it." She says with a bit of a woozy smile. She tended not to speak about those times much. It just didn't ever seem to be something she wanted to recall. She would much rather ignore that entire piece of her life.

"The bandages and the tricorder. That would be the shiny scanner right on the edge." She said a bit clearer then her earlier words. She ignored the stitching equipment since she already knew it wouldn't work, and infection wouldn't matter if she bled out.
