Percy had recalled his Ovid and had come to the Labyrinth prepared. Each twist and turn in the dark, each newly-explored place, had been marked so as to prevent Sir Percy from getting hopelessly lost. He doubted that others would see his calling cards - a small, red flower, simple in design, drawn on a piece of paper - as he had pinned them to the ground in places that were out of the way. It was his hope that if they were spotted and recognised for what they were, that is, a skein of thread for this Labyrinth, that they would be left alone or, better yet, perhaps even used ( ... )

Laura waited on the roof until the mist lifted before she ventured out to find Junpei. He was stupid; he ventured out there alone, rushing into danger without a care for himself. She did not understand why he would do so, or why she cared about finding him. Those thoughts were quickly pushed away as the mist lifted, now was not the time to think of that. Now was the time to hunt ( ... )

"Whoa." Was the first word that came out of Junpei's mouth after the whole ordeal. He was being saved by some weird guy from the past and a hot goth mutant chick. When did his life become so... weird? Not that he was complaining. At all. He had just watched in amazement at the fighting before him, his mouth practically hanging open.

"Dude, that was awesome!" It was directed at both Sir Percy and Laura, his grin wide as he looked between the two. He struggled as he pulled himself out of the spider's web and he regained a firm hold on his sword. Then he realised what Laura had said. He blushed and raised a hand to scratch at the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Well I couldn't really let Kurt stay gone longer than he had to be. Every second counts, you know!"

Sir Percy, ever the gentleman, momentarily pushed aside his amazement at the girl's utter decimation of the creature in order to bow in greeting at them both. "Madam, very good to see you. Sir, a pleasure. Sir Percy Blakeney, at your service." He pulled a stray strand or two of webbing off of the young man's jacket, smiling that inane little smile of his.

"Dash it, there are guts on my boots," he murmured, though it sounded as though he couldn't care less and was only remarking out of habit. Glancing over his shoulder, Sir Percy began looking for the nearest path onwards.

"Come, not far now." He pulled a little piece of paper out of a pocket in his waistcoat and wedged it between two stones. "Onwards, onwards, there are lives at stake."
