From his room, Fenris had heard the door open, and then the slumping, the the muttering as though whomever had entered was only speaking to themselves. The locking of doors was not something that ever occurred to him, but he'd never thought of someone coming in, let alone so loudly.

He closed his book, marking his place with a stray bit of paper, and moved to the door, looking out of the room from a crack so he might see the intruder without announcing his presence. It was boy, and one he had seen on the device but never spoken with.

Strange. He pushed the door open further, stepping into the hallway.

"May I help you?"

Stupid, stupid, stupid. He was in the middle of getting the last of that stupid thing out of his eye when a voice made him freeze up.

Oh maaaan. Junpei looked up from his seat on the floor, his eyes resting on the... person in front of him? After some of the things he had seen the person's appearance shouldn't really be shocking but the dude had pointy elf ears!

"Uuuh."

He turned his head to the left, to the right, his eyes widening.

"Awww man, you live here don't you? Dammit. I'm sorry. I-I thought the place was one of the abandoned ones."

It was a strange concept, living somewhere. He had no basis for comparison, so he supposed this place was as good a home as any.

He shrugged slightly. "I suppose, yes. Who are you?"
