Education was something Mitsuru supported strongly and if someone was interested in learning something, she wasn't going to brush them off. Especially, someone who was never given the chance to learn to read. She wasn't always the best at noticing things about other people, but she recognized the trouble Fenris had admitting it. Admitting that she couldn't do something was hard for her as well, it wasn't something she was used to doing and it was...embarrassing. She left a note that she was going to Fenris' place and then headed out.
The directions weren't hard to follow, she'd gotten used to the twists and turns of this place-which was disturbing in it's own right-- and knocked on the door.
