MEET AND GREET: HADESgodsoftartarusMarch 26 2011, 07:49:14 UTC
[The Lord of the Underworld is mingling through the crowd. Feel free to find him at either table, at his throne, or wherever really. If you'd like to meet him in person, here is your opportunity.]
[Misaki arrives in her normal clothes with the Camera Obscura by her side. She looks intent as she approaches the 'Lord of the Underworld', giving him a small bow of her head in respect.] Mr. Hades, do you think it would be possible to monopolize some of Ms. Persephone's time so I may take a photograph of you together? I would like to make it a gift before she leaves here.
[Hades is wearing his usual black, though it's a decidedly nicer fabric than his usual attire. He returns her nod with with a fraction of one and a long blink.]
If she is willing to oblige, then I see no reason why not.
[Not that he really understands this whole photograph thing completely. He's far more used to carvings being the way of things.]
MEET AND GREET: PERSEPHONEgodsoftartarusMarch 26 2011, 07:50:15 UTC
[The Queen of the Underworld has been wanting to meet you all in person, she likes a lot of you, and can be found in various locations throughout the evening! Hit her up! She's usually up for a friendly chat.]
[She had never met Persephone before, not even on the communicator but that was not going to stop a determined Misaki. She looked around until she found what she believed to be the Goddess.] Excuse me, Ms. Persephone? May I have a moment of your time?
[While Misaki does not appreciate being called a child, she knows there is no ill will. She returns the goddess' smile with one of her own]
I was wondering if it would be possible to have you and Mr. Hades stand together so that I may take a photograph of you together. I could make a couple of copies so you and him would each have one to look at while apart.
MEET AND GREET: HECATEgodsoftartarusMarch 26 2011, 07:53:56 UTC
[Hecate will also be in attendance to this little gathering, there to at least make an apperance at the party in her friend's honor. There are other reasons to attend a gathering such as this though, she's there to watch and perhaps to meet a few of you. If you'd like to meet her, don't be afraid to approach, she'd love to speak to you in person.]
[Castiel did not bother to approach Hades while he was enthroned; that smacked of a lesser being approaching a superior and Castiel would not fall into such a trap. As it was, he was already at a disadvantage. Instead, he found Hecate on the floor first. He approaches quickly, unwilling to let this opportunity pass.]
Hecate. [His tone is even, if a little sharp. He's not dressed for a party; this is completely business.]
Well, not entirely. The gown of silvery satin she had found at the marketplace was beautiful, and without a doubt the finest piece of clothing she had ever owned. But that didn't stop her overall feeling of just plain awkward. She was was a bar owner, a hunter and.. dead. What was she doing wearing something so elegant in the first place?
She did her best to swallow that odd feeling and slipped her arm through Sam's. He had gallantly offered to go with her, and a familiar face went a long way to easing her worries.
Besides, it was still a party and she was going to enjoy herself. Or sneak out early and go back to the Roadhouse
The last time that Sam wore a tuxedo, the night hadn't been the best. Memories of Gertrude and how she was all over him came back to his mind and he quickly shook them off.
Ellen looked nice though and he carefully guided her through the hall, occasionally saying hello to the people he knew before he ended up at the drinks table.
"You look lovely," he said to Ellen, giving her an encouraging smile.
Ellen returned the smile with a crooked grin of her own. "And you look pretty good in a tux, Sam. Although," she admitted, "I'd rather take this party back to the roadhouse. These formal affairs always make me feel a little out of place."
There had been a moment when Annabeth had been tempted to just show up in her normal clothes, but she dismissed it immediately as a bad idea. No need to antagonize Hades in his own domain. Still, she felt more than a little tied down by the ridiculous dress that she'd ended up wearing--it felt like she couldn't move freely enough, and she'd had an interesting time trying to decide where she was going to hide her dagger, but she'd figured things out eventually, even if it didn't stop her from feeling ridiculous.
Still, at least it was better than fighting for her life in the streets. Times like this, she almost wished she weren't quite so obviously blonde. She would have blended in a little better and spared herself from running into anyone she knew while she looked like someone entirely different.
Minato's mostly been keeping to himself. Even with his popularity at school and social life, he preferred blending into large crowds instead of standing out.
Glancing around, he spotted a girl. She's rather beautiful, he has to admit.
Blending in would have been much more preferred over standing out. Still, it was almost her own fault, and glancing around the room, Annabeth found someone watching her and raised an eyebrow.

[She was wearing a fairly simple black dress and a red cloak so dark that it was almost black as well.]
