Running into Remy on the rooftops was a hit or miss type thing, they never planed it, but she always made sure to stop by that spot when she was out alone. Usually, if she didn't find him, she didn't find anything and just went on. This time though, she found a note and that was all. The note didn't actually make any sense to her, but it was clearly left by him and the only assumption she could make was that it was meant for her. Knowing Remy, it was probably some sort of game, but hell if she could figure out what it meant or what she was supposed to do. After looking around for a few seconds she turned back, heading back home. Maybe she could call him when she got there or something.

She felt his presence before she actually entered the apartment, and she also felt the distinct lack of Cole's presence. Which ws strange, she was pretty sure he hadn't planned on going out anywhere tonight. She walked inside and raised an eyebrow at Remy standing in her living room.

"...How did you get in?"

His confident smile was normally enough to melt most hearts, but he knew Charis better than to be fooled by things like that. There were other, more subtle ways he could swing her in his favor, but he wasn't going to resort to using his powers unless there was no other option.

"I got my ways, mon chere, non?"

"Meaning what, you broke in?" Her tone was perfectly even, although there was a hint of curiosity in it. Had he broken in or had Cole let him in before going?

That grin never left, even as he moved closer to her. "What do you think, chere?" His voice was a low, even, murmur.
