For designer stuff, it sucks that they only do two bits at a time. Seriously, if you want a toaster get one that does four bits. You'll thank me later.

But, if it is down to these two, i think the first one is kinda cool.

Nah you can never butter four bits before the last ones gets cold, and buttering cold toast sucks. Doing it in two lots produces better quality toast. And yes I put too much thought into toast.

I absolutely LOVE the second one. And not just because of the red bits. Well not entirely because of the red bits. It is all kinds of awesome. You have to have it. Just so I can play with it *nods*

The First one looks absolutely Awesomeness... but I have to say... the second one has red bits!...

I like the fact that the second one says 'Toast' on it. You know, just in case you forget what you wanted to do with it.

Or, like me, you attempt to put stupid things in it, like hashbrowns. The 'TOAST' on the side is a friendly reminder not to be so stupid.

The block, it has to be the block! You'd really, really regret owning a toaster that says (metaphorically and literally) TOASTer! The block is so much more, monumental and meta.
