sixteen cherry blossoms [VOICE]

It seems the city's residents are calming down, if they haven't already.

I certainly hope things continue in this manner. That was far from a pleasant experience

[You are so full of shit. But Seishirou knows better than to blurt out that he's removed your chip, and so:] Oh dear. No one too important to you, I hope.

[Is just now waking up after sleeping rather terribly. His eyes are shooting open, the realization of the day before all coming together. Without really any hesitation, tears form in his eyes. His voice is still tired, quiet noticeably groggy.]

S... S-S-Seishirou-s-san....

[Now that's a tone that's familiar. Seishirou looks to Subaru but doesn't approach him.] Yes, Subaru-kun?

[Subaru squeezes his eyes shut, overridden with guilt.]

I'm... I'm sorry! I... I never wanted to say those things! [By now, he's wailing already. He's afraid Seishirou will either never believe him, never forgive him -- or both] E-every time I tried to... I couldn't say them. My... body, it wouldn't listen, and...

[He trailed off, letting out a small hiccup and unsuccessfully trying to halt his crying.]

[Seishirou allows Subaru to speak and apologize, and only moves forward once he does. He speaks in a perhaps surprisingly gentle tone, kneeling down to start undoing the belts that are binding Subaru's wrists and ankles to the bed.] You don't need to apologize, Subaru-kun. I understand what was happening.

It was hard to go for a walk outside or anything!

It seems much better now, at least. Hopefully things will stay this way, at least for a while.
