SO HOW RIDICULOUS WAS SKINS TONIGHT? I'm terrified for next week tbh-- they've knocked Katie and Cook totally out of the park so I feel like they've got to drop the ball SOMEWHERE, but I can't bear the thought of it being Freddie. His episode last series is still one of the most important episodes of TV I've ever watched.

I'm not even familiar with the source, but I love the song so I clicked on your link via the vidding livejournal and I'm so glad I did. This is gorgeous! I especially like the use of movement during the musical interlude at 2:22. The sparkler footage was just perfectly placed.

Is there any way you could upload your vid somewhere so I could dl the file to my computer? I'd love to save it in my keeper vids folder. :)

GOD, OKAY. I really loved this. A LOT. It doesn't hurt that I love Mumford and Sons at all, but okay, hold up, let me explain myself. When I was watching Series 3, I was on skinsfans alllll the time because I really didn't know any better, and as you know that community has a fairly taxing with-me-or-against-me policy. You can't like Cook and Freddie at the same time, that's just the rules. If you ship Cook/Effy, you must hate Freddie/Effy and vice versa. All I knew was that Effy had been one of my favourites from 1st gen and that Cook was my favourite from episode 1 and onwards, so there wasn't much room for Freddie, I guess? Like I didn't hate him, but I definitely sided with Cook re: all things Freddie, and Fun Sponge definitely didn't help matters ( ... )

YAY I'm so glad you like it!

But OMG DON'T EVEN GET ME START ON skinsfans They say some of the most disgusting offensive stuff about Effy and Freddie all because they're Cook fans and AUGH IT JUST INFURIATES ME. And these are people who said Effy was their favourite character once! And now they're trying to justify their hypocrisy by claiming Effy is OOC-- which yes, she is in the sense that SHE'S HAVING A BREAKDOWN.

blah blah blah I'm really happy you love the CFE dynamic the way I do, even though I'm veryyyyy nervous for Freddie's episode and kfjhksskdfs (Also I've probably told you before but I love that icon foreverrrrr)
