Lyrics:
Green hours
Blue rope
Hot wax
Four hearts are cold
We're three, we're three in the dark tonight
And baby, my snake is a shark tonight, ah-ha
He's got youth on his side
He's got small purple eyes
Now he's as straight as a bone
When there's nobody home
Everywhere kiss me
Everywhere kids speak
No catch no beat
Everywhere kiss me, everywhere kiss me
Everywhere kiss me
Everywhere kids meet
No catch no beat
Everywhere kiss, everywhere kiss, kiss me
I dropped my musings out of sight
I drank until the water's dry
It's all cute until someone dies
Shoot my name up every vein
You can't get hurt, you can't complain
No feet, no hands, no tale, no lies
He's got youth on his side
Hey!
Everywhere kiss me
Everywhere can't speak
No catch no beat
Everywhere kiss me, everywhere kiss me
Everywhere kiss me
Everywhere kids meet
No catch no beat
Everywhere kiss, everywhere kiss, kiss me
We're three
We're three
We're three
We're three, we're three in the dark tonight
And baby, my snake is a shark tonight
Notes:
I started this vid in March of last year on a trial version of Sony Vegas Pro. Of course, being me, I got distracted halfway through and by the time I remembered it, the trial had expired and it was lost. This is my attempt at recreating half of what I've done.
I firmly believe that in the first five episodes of series three, the Cook/Effy/Freddie triangle is centered around Freddie. Freddie's falling for Effy and doesn't know what to do about his friendship with Cook, Effy's sleeping with Cook to deny her growing feelings for Freddie, and Cook sleeps with Effy at the end of Freddie's episode as way of getting back at him after their fight. It's only until the beginning of 3.06, where Freddie says, "I think I've lost him," that the balance starts to shift and the triangle reorients with Effy at the centre. It stays this way until the last few minutes of the series, where we see Effy and Freddie rally around Cook. And if my hopes/predictions about series 4 are correct, they'll spend next season focused on Cook, on fixing him.
