October

All the players take the stage
cosmic instruments tuned to red-hot rage
or is it happiness

Is it the sound of fife and drum
or the sweet trill of flute that calls us home
from the world as it was
to the world as it yet will be

Is it the music of faerie dream
or ragnarock-n-roll that whispers or screams
October is coming

I would totally buy a NecroGnomicon bag from you if you're selling them :-) Or a shirt to wear to my weekly game *evil gnome grin*

It will happen. Oh yes, it will happen. The t-shirt will probably have "prepare for death and follow me" on the back.

Currently debating between two options for the tote bag, both from the poem:

"Their books from wisdom widely stray,
Or point at best the longest way.
I'll seek a readier path, and go
Where wisdom's surely taught below."

...or...

"When men my scythe and darts supply,
How great a king of fears am I!
They view me like the last of things;
They make, and then they dread, my stings."

I'm leaning towards the first one, but I'm torn :-)

I've got a couple of references for now, but I'll definitely keep that in mind - thanks! Will see how things proceed.

Awww ... At first I thought you were talking about the Evil Dead, but one of my fav ED quotes might still work: "...playing footies with the forces of hell."

I feel your pain re project management. When I look at the balance of project list versus useful plan, I worry. I have an album and an EP to kick out between now and February... eek. At least both bands seem to be taking a break from live playing, or are about to do so.

What software are you using for recording/editing?

Cubase 4 for MIDI/audio sequencing, and Audacity when I'm just playing with audio files.
