"I've never been kissed before," Witch Baby confesses to Angel Juan while sipping warm Earl Gray tea through a sparkly blue straw her mother let her use. Angel Juan smiles like he always does when Witch Baby leans over the delicately decorated tables of her home to whisper something---anything---to him. For reasons he couldn't really explain, he cherishes moments like this, when Witch Baby frantically whispers things to him as if she was admitting that she committed some horrendous crime. He admits internally that he isn't the best at elaborating on the ideas that race through his mind but he thinks he cherishes the moments where Witch Baby acts the way she does is because he greatly enjoys seeing a different, softer side of her. Knowing that she trusts him enough to open up like that makes him feel like he's worth trusting, that he's worth the risk of vulnerability
