① As of May 8th, select UNDER CODE PRODUCTION music is available for purchase of iTunes. It's the first time that UCP has offered digital downloads and I highly recommend purchasing something if you are at all interested; strong support will probably encourage KISAKI to make more available, and it's a LOT cheaper and easier (the iTunes store takes ( Read more... )

Now....
Is this through Itunes Japan, or is it across the different itunes store? Because if its just Itunes Japan I believe its going to be far more complicated for us non-in-Japan-people to get these. There's some sort of strange switching around involved that Paypal can facilitate.

Ah, I should specify shouldn't I! It's completely available to people in the US. Just open up the store like normal and search for either Phantasmagoria, KISAKI PROJECT, or UNDER CODE PRODUCTION (or just click on the links that I provided at the end of the entry). It's not limited to Japan at all~

OMG Kudos to you for posting this! You have no idea how sick and tired I am of my head exploding over conversations like this:

-------------
Random Fangirl: Hey, you gotta hear the new single from Such-And-Such-Band! It's awesome!

Me: Oh, really? That's good to know! I just ordered it on CD Japan. I should have my copy in about a week. How did you get yours so fast?

Random Fangirl: I downloaded it off Limewire (or some other ripoff download site that could give a shit about the artists who bust their asses to make this music...and that they have to eat and pay rent, too)...

Me: *head explodes*

iTunes, Baby! Yeah!!!

Thanks again for posting this!

No problem! I'm glad you appreciate it.

It would be a lie to say that I am against all downloading, but I am definitely in favor of supporting artists, and there is really almost no excuse to not do that when their songs are availble so cheaply on iTunes.

I really hope that UCP puts more music up for download (it seems to me that KISAKI tends to embrace a new format and then forget about it just as quickly) and, eventually, maybe even try some digital-only releases (like alice nine. and a few others have done).
