chariots will resume in 2012

Dec 22, 2011 11:38

I dont understand the situation well....
KISAKI and UNDER CODE said in the last months, that chariots resume activities for the last concerts in December and after it will "disband".
but RIKU announced now on his blog, that the chariots will resume in 2012 also.
so it seems 凛 wont come back soon... !? or KISAKI retired  to make the 凛 famous?

⏆ chariots, ⏀ Lin (凛 -the end of corruption world-)

Honestly? I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS. When I saw his blog post, I screamed, literally screamed with joy. There are no words to convey my happiness that chariots is back. Riku seems so happy about it too, his blog posts scream with a shift in emotion. I'm happy. I'm so damn happy and I don't know what will happen to LIN, all I know is that Riku is doing what he needs to do to be happy, to live a fufulling life and follow his own dreams. So I will support him with everything that I am. <3 Viva chariots!!

Yeah, I don't really understand it either... To be honest, I don't like chariots at all, but I'm fine with them coming back... but not if it means LIN won't come back!

I suppose I'll wait for New Year to find out what LIN's doing, but I'll be really angry if LIN isn't coming back but chariots is. That would just be ridiculous.

Agreed.

I actually really like chariots, quite a bit, but I don't want them resuming if it means LIN doesn't resume, I'll be pissed off if that happens :/

Indeed don't really understand it. I remember the official word that chariots would disband not long ago, and now they are supposedly resuming... it seems to me, I've no idea though, that it's something Riku wants to do whilst LIN is on hiatus, like a 'I've got nothing better to do, so I'll resume chariots' hopefully until LIN resumes... but it's all speculation at this point, we won't know for certain until next year I'm sure.

i dont have problem with chariots.
but they started as the "Phantasmagoria's successor". and look what it became, just something oneman fun band without hope, without future, without conception...
凛 is more meaningful

I am super happy about this news (^v^)
I've always loved chariots. and the live was insanely fun, and I really, really look forward to seeing them as a full band next year!

as for Lin... it's hard to say... during the MC, RIKU mentioned that he couldn't release new chariots material earlier because he was busy with Lin. and now chariots will be a full band again and they're releasing a new single in 2012.... so... I guess we'll find out after the announcement.

personally, I will be happy with anything that makes RIKU happy. I love chariots as much as I love Lin. and I wouldn't want either of them to disband. but I find it hard to imagine that he would have time to be in two full bands at the same time.

Why not? KISAKI is with LIN and KP, plus his job as UNDER CODE president, and he is -I think- doing well!

So… why not!
But I'm really scared, even if yes, Riku isn't anymore the Phantasmagoria's Riku, he is still an important part of LIN for me, I can't figure how the band will become without him…

God, this "important announcement" thing makes a brand new meaning…

You know, I've been thinking about this. And frankly? They don't need Riku to continue 凛, regardless of if he's their vocalist 凛 is not like Phantasmagoria, it isn't a huge collaboration by all the members of the band working together. Most of the songs and the lyrics are written by KISAKI. Realistically? Every member in that band is replaceable EXCEPT for Kisaki, so I think that perhaps Riku will leave 凛, and be replaced by another vocalist. It isn't entirely unheard of.

The only thing that bothers me about that is the fact that Riku will be getting so much shit for it and say what you will about the man but he has NOT been happy. It's completely obvious to anyone who bothers to really look at his blog posts. This is HIS choice, he made it for a reason and I don't think for a second that 'ending chariots' was something he ever wanted to do. This makes him happy and as his fans we need to respect that regardless of what it means for 凛.

(Besides, Riku's too good of a writer to be singing somebody else's lyrics. Especially ones that ( ... )

You could be right! I've thought about this once before-it would certainly shake things up!

What a refreshing idea... now I kind of want it
