"Why do we keep ending up like this?"
Went and saw The Prestige yesterday afternoon. I was a little disappointed when
the cloning came into it. Yes, it's a movie, yes, they're magicians. But...ugh. That kind of irked me.
BUT I did LOVE Christian Bale's character. Truly the best magician. After all, the best tricks are the most simple. =P And Hugh Jackman was...good. He played the character well. I'd rather get the DVD though, purely for the extras.
Finally saw the "Traumfrau" video! (it's here if you want to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3vCD4Rv-y0) I remember Devo did a similar video, but this was great. Tasty. =P Naghavi really is a better showman than most. He makes frontmen like Till Lindemann and Dero look like statues in comparison*. *awaits explosion of fangirl anger*
But of course, everyone has their own personal opinion. At least And One didn't sell themselves out like Rammstein**.
Speaking of, I've yet to get Volkerball. Eeek. Kind of forgot to buy it over the weekend... *facepalm* But um, Grindhouse? The trailer? Holy hell I want to see it so bad.

*Not being biased. He really does. From his interaction with the public/"boys" on stage to the way he tells a story through his tour diary. He's not perfect, but damn close.
**Based on the bullshit surrounding the release of Volkerball on DVD. Not to mention the fucking around with Rosenrot. IN MY OPINION.
